Cervecería Modelo S. de R.L. de C.V. is a Mexican brewery founded in Mexico City in 1925 by a group of entrepreneurs. It became known for Mexican beers such as Corona and Modelo Especial.
The brewery is part of Grupo Modelo, a major Mexican brewing group. It is known for producing beer in the Mexican brewing tradition. Cervecería Modelo also takes part in charitable and social initiatives, supporting local communities and promoting beer culture in Mexico and abroad.
